A little over a month ago, June turned one and we decided to throw her an over-the-top Mexican bash for her very first fiesta!! This day was so much fun for us– not only did we get to celebrate my June Bug, but we hosted our first big event at The Vault! For décor, we knew we wanted to do something cheery and bright, so we centered the celebration around Mexican pom poms and cacti because that spells fun and June LOVES Mexican food. Desert 2 District created a cacti backdrop with her own handmade stamps. It. was. rad. For the lounge furniture, we selected midcentury modern bright pieces for June to play on along with her own mini rattan chair. Seeing her little smile fills my heart, and we are so grateful to all the amazing friendors who helped to make this party such a blast for her. We’re so excited to finally get to share these fun photos with you, and be sure to check out the whole story on 100 Layer Cake-let!
We are so excited to share these pics with you from one of our couple’s STUNNING June wedding in Arlington, VA! Austin + Justin got married on their family’s property, so they were really working with a blank canvas! In the gorgeous photos below, you’ll see everything from our farm tables to our bars to our chairs to our upholstered seating— they got it all! With the help of their planners and stylists at Engaging Affairs and Heirloom DC, Austin + Justin’s big day was simultaneously chic, romantic, elegant, and down to earth! By working with a neutral color palette and accenting with timeless gold details, they were able to create something that will never go out of style! Basically, their wedding looks like it’s straight out of the pages of a Martha Stewart magazine, so, without further ado… enjoy!
Our Quincy Tables are good for more than just cocktail hour! Using a cocktail table like the Quincy for the guest book is such a good idea– it’s the perfect size, plus the extra height makes it easier for guests to write their notes to the happy couple! The fact that all of our Quincy Tables were handmade with reclaimed wood sourced from D.C.? That’s just an added bonus!
Incorporating really striking pieces like our Lauryn Mirrored Bar was a no brainer for this couple! Handcrafted from gorgeous, raw wood, the Lauryn looks great topped off with glasses and wine for a cool cocktail station.
Light wood ✅ Slightly Whitewashed ✅ Cream Cushions ✅ Our Toulouse French Hooded Chairs are total showstoppers! When you break these bad boys out, you know you’re gonna wow your guests! We love that our couple opted to pair these dramatic chairs with our classic Janice Brass Coffee Table.
Having some lounge seating on hand is always a good idea so that guests can find a comfy place to take a break from all the hoopla! There’s nothing we love more than seeing our clients and their guests enjoying our pieces– that’s why we love these pics so much!
This combination of our honey colored Sonoma Chairs and Dupont Whitewashed Tables is absolute PERFECTION! This pic epitomizes what we love about all of our farm tables— the reclaimed wood is so beautiful on its own, all you need is some simple green garland to create an unforgettable table setting!
Umm… we are loving this unique food display! It’s such a fun idea to incorporate vintage trays like our Ada Small Gold Tray for serving. And that hedge wall display?! We would take our Asher Hedge Wall with a side of sushi any day!

We are so pumped to announce our new collaboration with Carthage Co.!! This has been in the works for a while now, and we’re so excited to bring you some incredible new dinnerware sets. Watch out tabletops, these beauties are coming your way! We’ve been on the hunt for the perfect plates for ages now, and we ultimately chose these plates because of their amazing colors and how they coordinate with our Bloomington plate collection and teak vintage plates. We cannot express enough how freakin’ excited we are!! All of the colors are somehow modern and timeless and we can’t wait to see what kind of table settings our awesome clients will come up with. One more reason I really love Carthage? All of these plates are made in Tunisia– I spent some time in Tunisia, studied Arabic for 12 years, and earned my MA in Islamic Studies. Basically, this collaboration seemed to fuse my past and current passions perfectly!

Since I’m surrounded by our collection of pretty on a daily basis, when my hubby and I put our home in Park View in Washington DC on the market last December, staging it with our pieces was a no brainer! Incorporating our sofas and decor made a huge difference, and I am so so sure that it helped us get a higher selling price than it would have otherwise. If you want to get the most bang for your buck, we cannot recommend staging enough. So, take a look and browse our collection of pretty! All prices online are for daily rentals, but if you want a longer-term rental for home staging, please inquire and we can give you a quote and let you know which pieces in our collection are available for long term rentals. We can’t wait for you to see our pieces work their magic in your home!
It’s rare that a real wedding is as beautiful as a styled editorial, but Catherine and Kyle’s wedding is every bit as stunning! Coordinated and designed by Social Graces Events, this couple’s big day looks like it’s straight out of a magazine! Held at the bride’s family’s estate on Memorial Day Weekend, the couple opted for elegant details like picture perfect invitations by Little Bit Heart to stunning florals by Little House of Flowers. We’re so excited to share some of their gorgeous photos below! Be sure to keep any eye out for fave pieces like our Dupont Whitewashed Farm Tables, a super chic sweetheart set-up, and our Evangeline Pews!
