We’ve been quiet on the blog lately, and we have to admit, busy season is in full swing and we are going a little crazy over here! That being said, we were a part of an awesome editorial last year and it just got picked up by Style Me Pretty, so we couldn’t resist sharing some more info! Veronica Rogers is basically a creative genius, and working with her is always such an amazing experience. Collaborating on this wedding editorial was no exception! Jardin Du Bois feels like both an Italian villa and a secret garden, so the shoot has a super ethereal, dreamy vibe that we are ALL about. Favorites like our Sonoma Crossback Chairs make an appearance, plus other fun decor items like our assorted vintage birdcages! We are sooo excited for you to see how gorgeous these photos turned out- seriously, Bonnie Sen is crazy talented and these images are STUNNING! Fingers crossed, it won’t be so long until we post again! In the meantime, be sure to check out even more photos online on Style Me Pretty.
If you’ve been following along these past few months, you probably heard us mention that we’ve been working on the most AMAZING industrial meets Tulum inspired wedding. We were sooo excited when this couple asked us to design their wedding– yes, we loooove renting out all of our pieces, but this wedding was especially fun for us because the couple had an amazing vision and we got to help their dream day come alive! Along with Tart Event Co., we were able to create an over-the-top bash to celebrate this couple’s love. What could be better?!
Not only did we get to style one of the raddest weddings ever, we also got to work with some AMAZING vendors. We always love working with the gals at Sweet Root Village and they outdid themselves on this one! The ceremony featured an amazing deconstructed greenery chuppah and, at the reception, our Charm City, Brentwood, and Tenley Tables were topped with organic tropical arrangements. In addition to Sweet Root, we brought in Modern Foliage to supply us with alllll the palms. Seriously, this wedding was overflowing with the most over-the-top, lush greenery and florals!
All in all, everything came together so perfectly and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The second Sam + Jesse told us they wanted their wedding to have a “tropical disco” vibe, we knew we were gonna love them. Sure enough, we enjoyed every second of working with this couple to create the wedding of their dreams. We hope you enjoy this sneak peek, and be sure to keep an eye out for the full album COMING SOON!
It’s hard to put into words just how much fun we had working on this wedding editorial last fall! From the planning and styling to providing all of the rentals, we were involved every step of the way. Basically, this shoot is our baby, and we are in luuuurve. That’s why we’re so excited to have these beautiful photos featured on Ruffled Blog!
We set out to create an editorial with a focus on dusty gemstones, but we also really wanted to collaborate with some amazing local artisans. When it came to choosing a venue, Goodstone Inn in Middleburg, VA was a no-brainer. Not only do we work on sooo many events at Goodstone, but the stone and ivy walls give off some serious secret garden vibes. Shot by the super talented Anne Robert (she photographed my wedding too!) and complete with the most amazing custom stationary by Emily Baird Design, small bite by Heirloom DC, and rye & brandy courtesy of Catoctin Creek, this wedding editorial exceeded even our wildest expectations!
A lot of hard work went into this editorial, but we were so lucky to have the most amazing team by our side! It was such a treat to collaborate with all of these talented people, and it really was the perfect day. Looking back on this shoot, these pics still give us all the feels, and we think it’s safe to say this is gonna down in the books as one of our all-time favorite projects! So without further ado… prepare to see the prettiest photos YOU HAVE EVER SEEN!
We’ve been waiting to share pics from Sam + Robert’s big day for a couple of months now, and we’re so excited for everyone to finally see them! Along with their planner, Brita Olsen Creative, this couple left no stone unturned and created an over-the-top, chic wedding with just a touch of whimsy! Complete with assorted vintage china, mismatched lounge furniture, and the most insane floral chandeliers and lanterns, this wedding was simultaneously stylish and super fun. Chic without being stuffy, the couple mixed elegant upholstered pieces with natural wood elements like farm tables and Bentwood Chairs. All in all, it was the perfect day in Monkton!
If we had to name one of the top trends we’ve seen so far in 2018, it would definitely be tropical. Not only are we styling an over-the-top, bad a$$, tropical disco wedding later this month, but we have gotten soooo many inquiries about tropical pieces! And we’re into it! Tropical vibes are always fun for a festive party, and this wedding editorial shot at Prism in Annapolis, MD is no different. Satin & Sage Events chose to incorporate some industrial flair with our Ivy City Black Farm Table and Penn Black Bentwood Chairs, a copper bar back, and cool geometric accents. Plus, they brought in fun boho accents like our Alder Teak Chargers and Summer Peacock Chairs. Basically, this editorial is amazing, and we hope the tropical trend doesn’t go away any time soon!
If you didn’t already know, we are alllll about rattan these days! Our collection of peacock chairs has been growing like crazy lately and we’re not mad about it. These beauties are the best of boho- so cool and effortlessly stylish! These are always a go to for baby and bridal showers, however, we also love mixing our rattan furniture into lounge groupings with our upholstered pieces as well! We truly can’t believe how much our peacock posse has grown in the past year– we have sizes, colors, and shapes galore! So, we hope the pics below give you some major inspo and be sure to check out all of our rattan side tables online too!
A little over a month ago, June turned one and we decided to throw her an over-the-top Mexican bash for her very first fiesta!! This day was so much fun for us– not only did we get to celebrate my June Bug, but we hosted our first big event at The Vault! For décor, we knew we wanted to do something cheery and bright, so we centered the celebration around Mexican pom poms and cacti because that spells fun and June LOVES Mexican food. Desert 2 District created a cacti backdrop with her own handmade stamps. It. was. rad. For the lounge furniture, we selected midcentury modern bright pieces for June to play on along with her own mini rattan chair. Seeing her little smile fills my heart, and we are so grateful to all the amazing friendors who helped to make this party such a blast for her. We’re so excited to finally get to share these fun photos with you, and be sure to check out the whole story on 100 Layer Cake-let!
We are so excited to share these pics with you from one of our couple’s STUNNING June wedding in Arlington, VA! Austin + Justin got married on their family’s property, so they were really working with a blank canvas! In the gorgeous photos below, you’ll see everything from our farm tables to our bars to our chairs to our upholstered seating— they got it all! With the help of their planners and stylists at Engaging Affairs and Heirloom DC, Austin + Justin’s big day was simultaneously chic, romantic, elegant, and down to earth! By working with a neutral color palette and accenting with timeless gold details, they were able to create something that will never go out of style! Basically, their wedding looks like it’s straight out of the pages of a Martha Stewart magazine, so, without further ado… enjoy!
