It’s hard to put into words just how much fun we had working on this wedding editorial last fall! From the planning and styling to providing all of the rentals, we were involved every step of the way. Basically, this shoot is our baby, and we are in luuuurve. That’s why we’re so excited to have these beautiful photos featured on Ruffled Blog!

We set out to create an editorial with a focus on dusty gemstones, but we also really wanted to collaborate with some amazing local artisans. When it came to choosing a venue, Goodstone Inn in Middleburg, VA was a no-brainer. Not only do we work on sooo many events at Goodstone, but the stone and ivy walls give off some serious secret garden vibes. Shot by the super talented Anne Robert (she photographed my wedding too!) and complete with the most amazing custom stationary by Emily Baird Design, small bite by Heirloom DC, and rye & brandy courtesy of Catoctin Creek, this wedding editorial exceeded even our wildest expectations!

A lot of hard work went into this editorial, but we were so lucky to have the most amazing team by our side! It was such a treat to collaborate with all of these talented people, and it really was the perfect day. Looking back on this shoot, these pics still give us all the feels, and we think it’s safe to say this is gonna down in the books as one of our all-time favorite projects! So without further ado…  prepare to see the prettiest photos YOU HAVE EVER SEEN!

vintage_furniture_rental_dc_0937.jpgThis wedding editorial was all about whimsical, over-the-top style, so we didn’t want to skimp on the details! Decking out pieces like our Nashville Bronze Distressed Mirror with calligraphy was such a fun way to welcome guests. Plus, Holly’s gorgeous flowers looked so chic paired with our Elaine Oval Gold Mirror and Wayne Tin Steamer Trunk!

vintage_furniture_rental_dc_0936.jpgOMG– talk about ceremony seating goals! 😍🤩😍🤩 There aren’t enough emojis in the world to describe how obsessed we are with this setup. We wanted to create something that was simultaneously luxurious and laid back, so we opted to use a mix of our upholstered pieces at the ceremony site. The mix of neutrals and jewel tones was the perfect combination for this editorial!

vintage_furniture_rental_dc_0946.jpgOur Tyler Bar & Bar Back are always showstoppers and they look better than ever here, flanked by our Lola Black Velvet Settee, Cyrus Persian Rug, and Austin Distressed Mirror. The luxe fabrics, deep hues, and ornate wood details work so well together. And can we talk about that cake from Buttercream Bakeshop?! It perfectly tied into our color scheme, plus it was delicious!🤤vintage_furniture_rental_dc_0941.jpg
vintage_furniture_rental_dc_0940.jpgWe are loving these bar details! The mix of our vintage decanters, red goblets, and vintage book were such a good way to accent our Tyler Bar & Bar Back. Plus, Pluma Palomina’s calligraphy looks so beautiful on our gold mirror. All in all, the perfect way to let guests know about the rye bar courtesy of Catoctin Creek!

vintage_furniture_rental_dc_0935.jpgWe wanted to create a vibe similar to the ceremony for the head table. Once again, we opted for a mix of upholstered pieces all in either neutrals or jewel tones. The result was STUNNING! We’re not joking when we say this is one of our favorite photos everrrrr. The mix of chairs looked so pretty together, and our Kingman Head table is picture-perfect topped with a luxurious velvet runner and Holly’s overflowing, garden-style arrangements! vintage_furniture_rental_dc_0947.jpgWe incorporated a lot of gold accents throughout the day, so we knew from the start that our Bloomington handmade China and Jolee Mixed Vintage Gold Flatware was the right choice for our table settings. The making and designing Bloomington China is a collaboration between the White Hearth Supply based in Virginia and Something Vintage!  The Bloomington and Jolee looked sooo pretty alongside our Amber Mixed Vintage Goblets, and we opted to keep things simple with a stunning menu card by Emily Baird Design and a sliced fig for decor!
